Chriz performed her own rendition of popular songs relating to the moon and the Mid-Autumn Festival, like Moon River, Dancing in the moonlight, 城里的月光/我愿意 mash, and 月光. Her performance also attracted many onlookers to find out who is behind this beautiful voice near Esplanade’s waterfront. Mandopop singer, Chriz Tong will be presenting her wonderful musical journey at the Esplanade Recital Studio this October.

The “Unfinished Concert” theme was inspired by her latest TV drama series, Love at Risk’s sub-theme song titled “An unfinished love song”. “Unfinished” refers to Chriz’s constant dedication and passion to sing more well-received songs for her fans and audiences.

Chriz Tong’s Unfinished Concert will be Chriz’s first ever concert at the Esplanade Recital Studio, where she will serenade her audiences with the rendition of her popular TV drama series theme songs, such as “Kampong Ties”, “Truth, Virtue and Beauty” of the drama “Don’t Stop Believin”,“Coffee Love Song” of the drama “96°C Café”, which is sure to bring back memories that many of her audiences may share.

Being part of the Moonlight Melodies series of shows before the Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations, Chriz will be performing songs which are related to the Mid-Autumn. She will also be performing her popular TV drama series theme songs.

在第一張專輯就頗受好評的「薇恩」，在唱片環境現況侷限下，一直沒能正式地跟樂迷好好介紹自己，平日擔任新航空姐的工作雖然繁忙，仍非常熱中自己喜歡的音樂，終於，在第二張專輯發行後，要跟大家見面了。

當初新加坡當地歌唱比賽，有著「林憶蓮」的婉約、「江美琪」的淡雅、「梁靜茹」的溫暖及「王菲」個性的漂亮聲線，一下子就打動了製作人「隨安」，為了讓新加坡本土好聲音能夠有機會發聲，本身就不富裕的製作人，竟然大膽地為她成立「紅星球音樂公司」（The Red Planet Music），也發行了第一張專輯，在資金告罄下，「紅星球音樂公司」就持續接案希望能讓她的音樂之路有下一步發展，皇天不負苦心人，好聲音終究沒有被埋沒，今年，幾檔重要星馬大戲，紛紛指定她的演唱，其中，「甘榜情」主題曲「舊情。歌」又名「甘榜情緣」的主題曲已經正式曝光；頗有當年許美靜「城裡的月光」的味道。

【救贖系專輯「救。情歌」    救贖情感    也希望拯救市場】

新加坡本土一直是音樂發展相當艱辛的，雖不乏好歌手，但都還是轉戰海外。在近期中，孫燕姿、林俊傑之後，就沒有完全華語音樂的接班新人，幾位在「星光大道」嶄露頭角的選秀歌手，似乎後繼無力。為了迎合市場，也不少作品，失去真正情感的特質、感動。

薇恩難得兼具清新、力道、溫暖的聲音，在演繹陶喆「找自己」中，可窺見一二，因此，製作人就以這樣的優質基礎定位，基本上，要先讓整張歌曲的好聽、耐聽度是一致的，接著，每首歌的功能，要讓不同情感狀態或故事的消費者，都能因為聆聽後，獲得釋放，這也是為何定義為「救贖系」的原因，正是發揮薇恩的長處。達到被接受後，音樂的力量就會益加擴大，間接地當然希望有更多好歌、好歌手出現，有了好歌、好歌手，會讓消費者更愛聽歌，把歌曲回到聽覺上，而不是迷或在過度的包裝上，於是市場邏輯就成為良性循環。同時，冀望能像近年馬來西亞創作與藝人，揚威於台灣、內地及所有華語音樂市場上。這是最最艱鉅的目標，卻是自己最最大的使命。

【好聲音不寂寞 阿牛處女對唱】

專輯錄製過程中，在製作人穿針引線下，阿牛（陳慶祥）聽到這樣的好聲音，非常樂意用他的影響力，讓更多人享受好聲音，在「初戀紅豆冰」海外密集宣傳的空檔，特別隔空與薇恩作了合唱，也是阿牛成為歌手後，第一次與女聲合唱；此次選定的曲目，是在星馬紅遍一時的「關懷方式」，曲風輕鬆卻帶著甜甜愛戀的旋律，這首 2011 年阿牛對唱版中，阿牛更人文沉穩的聲音，與薇恩搭配起來，特別清新，雖然一直安排不到阿牛和拍音樂錄影帶的檔期，但讓合作音樂錄影帶的動畫公司，馬上聯想到轟動國際市場幾米的暢銷作品「向左走、向右走」，特別以阿牛、薇恩的動畫造型，重新詮釋新加坡版的城市戀曲，也成為專輯首波亮點。

除此之外，另外一檔NTV7 重點電視劇《黑色夕陽》主題曲、片尾主題曲，「合二為一」、「說愛」分別與另外兩把好男聲「李凱年」、「李順利」合作，勢必也會是將來大家爭相學習演唱的合唱歌曲。

【不只要唱    也要創作】

聲音的優勢是既有的武器，但對於音樂事業企圖薇恩不僅於此。一直是英文教育的成長過程，深知既然要進入華語流行樂壇，決定要給自己重大挑戰—「創作」。

在空服工作往返國際中，薇恩只能先用手機記錄靈感，把旋律完成後，趕緊找製作人討論；碰巧，製作人隨安的音樂人朋友「葉樹賢」，因緣際會在心加坡落地工作，薇恩積極地不斷找時間喝咖啡、討論創作，學習中文，當然，也把自己生活的小經驗濃縮成自己的創作中，完成生平第一首歌曲「我會」。甜甜的旋律讓製作人相當滿意，決定收錄，不單是成為自己重要的經歷，也像是宣告歌迷「我會」創作囉!!

這次發片，已經不只是一張 CD、一首動畫音樂錄影帶上架，隨著新加坡本地發行外，也陸續展開宣傳工作的安排，終於要帶著新歌演出演唱，當然是新的功課與壓力，但薇恩知道，新加坡只是第一步，後面還有無數個關卡，目前最希望的，也是站穩新加坡，進軍台灣及內地。音符就是她的翅膀，將會帶她飛過每一片海洋，過去空姐是不斷跨國的服務工作，未來要用音樂服務，跨越更多的國家。
